Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design of AC /DC overhead/underground high-voltage (HV) transmission lines (69 kV–500 kV or higher).
Perform structural analysis and loading calculations for various structures.
Conduct transmission line routing studies and feasibility analyses.
Develop plan & profile drawings and design reports.
Serve as technical lead or lead engineer on projects.
Provide quality control reviews and coordinate with teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
Professional Engineer (PE) license (required at hire).
Minimum 5 years of experience in the power industry, preferably with a transmission and distribution company or T&D engineering consultant.
Proven experience with high-voltage overhead transmission line engineering.
Demonstrated proficiency with PLS-CADD and related design tools.
Strong knowledge of NESC and related industry codes.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
