About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead Hansa Biopharma's US trade and distribution operations
  • Drive channel strategy, distribution partnerships, patient access, compliance, and launch readiness
  • Channel strategy and design
  • Distribution network management
  • Gross-to-net and channel economics support
  • Chargeback administration
  • Government and commercial contract operations
  • Demand forecasting & inventory monitoring
  • Data analytics and channel insights
  • Compliance, including DSCSA, and risk management
  • Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Quality, Commercial Operations, and Market Access
  • Provide functional leadership, vendor oversight, and cross-functional coordination

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university
  • 10 years of US pharmaceutical supply and distribution experience including experience supporting a US product launch, preferably in hospital, transplant, nephrology or orphan
  • Vendor relationship management and governance experience, preferably with 3PLs/SDs and CMOs
  • 3PL budget management experience
  • Experience from a smaller international biotech company is preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • ERP system experience essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of other IT systems (e.g. Contract Management Systems, Sharepoint, Travel & Expenses systems)
  • Knowledge and experience with Tracelink and DSCSA legislation
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization including C-suite, CEO and Board of Directors
  • Ability to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities, in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed, approximately 20%
