About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs)
- Optimize external scientific engagement with KOLs, HCPs, and healthcare entities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate tactical plans
- Develop and implement the MSL Effectiveness Model
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards
- Communicate strategic value of Field Medical across internal stakeholders
- Drive generation of field insights
- Foster team advancement through individual development plans and educational initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced medical or scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, DNP)
- 5+ years of field medical experience, including 2+ years in a team leadership role
- Strong experience with both proactive and reactive field medical initiatives
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and external KOLs/HCPs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex science into relevant clinical context
- Demonstrated understanding of compliance, ethical, legal, and regulatory guidelines related to Medical Affairs
- Ability to travel approximately 50%
