About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the development of the U.S. patient brand strategy for imlifidase grounded in a deep understanding of the highly sensitized transplant patient journey and unmet needs.
  • Own U.S. patient launch planning, including strategy, messaging, channel mix, and executional roadmap.
  • Lead the patient ambassador and engagement programs.
  • Support the U.S. patient conference and event strategy, elevating Hansa’s presence and impact at key national, regional, and local meetings.
  • Champion innovation in patient engagement, continuously evolving approaches to improve the patient experience across the journey.
  • Serve as a core member of the U.S. Marketing Team, partnering closely with Medical Affairs, Advocacy, Market Access, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Lead the development of patient-facing assets and materials to support consistent execution across the field, both unbranded and branded.
  • Support field teams with tools, training, and resources to enable effective and compliant patient engagement at the transplant centers and local events.
  • Own agency-of-record relationships for patient marketing, driving strategic value, innovation, and executional excellence.
  • Oversee launch readiness, promotional review processes, and ongoing optimization of patient tactics.
  • Support OPDP submission package for accelerated approval in a timely and effective fashion.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA degree (science or business degree preferred); MBA is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or relevant commercial experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Experience effectively managing external agency partners, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders to effectively implement strategies and programs
  • Agility, proven ability to influence without authority and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to achieve positive results
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ownership mentality, willingness to roll up sleeves and flexibility to jump in where the business needs dictate
  • Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions
  • Strong project management, communication, and organization skills
  • Transplant and/or rare disease and nephrology experience preferred
  • US launch experience preferred
  • Ability to travel ~25%
