About the role

  • Source deposits and lending relationships on behalf of the Bank in support of achieving the Bank’s annual growth goals.
  • Diligently maintain pipeline reports using the Bank’s IT systems and support the timely collection and accurate review of documents required from borrowers for the Bank to issue term sheets and submit loan requests for underwriting.
  • Cross-sell new products to the Bank’s existing customers.
  • Solicit customer feedback and assess the Bank’s competition to inform new product development.
  • Work proactively to strengthen the Bank’s relationship with customers by responding to inquiries and communicating with referral sources and/or customers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction possible.
  • Constantly and proactively assists the Director of Sales, SBA & USDA Banking Team with refining the loan origination and deposit production processes to assist the Bank with maximizing the efficiency of its operations and the satisfaction of its customers.
  • Ensure that work is within SBA SOP compliance.
  • Develop a complete banking relationship with banking borrowers, to include deposit accounts.
  • Represent the Bank at trade shows and events, as applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of SBA or related experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of SBA 7a, 504, and USDA
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet the demand of high-pressure sales goals for SBA Lending
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
