About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process new user setup and termination requests in required systems.
  • Respond to phone calls, emails and online tickets using company’s ticketing system.
  • Troubleshoot and correct basic problems with multiple applications (either home grown or through third party vendors).
  • Communicate with third party vendors and providers.
  • Maintain inventory system and keep a detailed log of assets for traceability.
  • Occasional weekend and evening support, either on call or on site when needed.
  • Be in charge of premises access, create, assign and disable identification badges.
  • Review system logs and escalate errors.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT troubleshooting and support.
  • Basic PC hardware knowledge and computer device setup and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop OS version 7, 8 and 10.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and user permissions (ACL).
  • Knowledge of shared and network printers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, install and repair drivers.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking, setup and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Certifications such as A+, Network+ are optional but preferred.
