About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute core accounting responsibilities while improving workflows and controls
Prepare month-end journal entries, supporting schedules, and account analyses
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate reconciling items
Maintain and analyze daily cash balances
Support month-end close process with review-ready deliverables
Perform financial statement fluctuation analysis
Analyze financial and operational data for trends and improvements
Partner with different teams to resolve accounting issues
Assist in building automated reconciliation processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
One to three years of general accounting experience or related experience
Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and core accounting concepts
Experience preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Basic SQL knowledge is a plus
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting systems
