About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute core accounting responsibilities while improving workflows and controls
- Prepare month-end journal entries, supporting schedules, and account analyses
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate reconciling items
- Maintain and analyze daily cash balances
- Support month-end close process with review-ready deliverables
- Perform financial statement fluctuation analysis
- Analyze financial and operational data for trends and improvements
- Partner with different teams to resolve accounting issues
- Assist in building automated reconciliation processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- One to three years of general accounting experience or related experience
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and core accounting concepts
- Experience preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Basic SQL knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting systems
