About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Represent Strategic Sourcing department and assist with developing Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Manage contract lifecycles and assist with and/or create and validate supplier contracts, amendments and new vendor set-up documentation.
Ensure on-time execution of projects by close cooperation with Suppliers, Operations, Clinical, and Supply Chain teams.
Prepare and produce reports such as vendor spend, rebate performance, contract expiration, and supplier scorecards.
Responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining relationships with internal team members as well as suppliers.
Collecting data from suppliers as needed to prepare reports and track KPIs.
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders on projects & initiatives as needed.
Assist Strategic Sourcing team with supplier issue resolution
Assist with research on suppliers and market conditions to ensure competitive pricing and quality.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associates Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
Healthcare industry experience is a plus
Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
Familiar with contracts and other legal documents
Knowledge of Supply Chain processes
Familiarity with ERP & CRM systems (experience with Oracle, Salesforce and/or COUPA a plus)
Intermediate to advance Excel user (familiarity with Power BI a plus)
Project management (familiarity with Smartsheets or MS Project a plus)
