About the role
- Manage and grow accounts to drive sales revenue and achieve business objectives.
- Lead a team of sales professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Develop strategic partnerships with key clients to maximize business opportunities.
- Prepare strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with existing customers.
- Propose tailored solutions to gain a deep understanding of key clients’ business objectives.
- Work closely with marketing and product development to align strategies.
- Identify and negotiate contracts with key clients.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to forecast sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 10+ years relevant work experience
- 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience in sales, account management, business development, or retailer buying and planning background
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools
- Experience in leading and managing a team of sales professionals
- Walmart experience is preferred.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to take data/insights and tell a compelling sales story
