Accountant

• Prepare financial reports to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.
• Perform general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
• Prepare periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Implement and manage lease and other contract processes with operational leaders.
• Foster a collaborative and solution-oriented environment by communicating effectively across departments to improve processes and resolve issues.
• Reconcile leasing software to ERP and maintains ASC 842 requirements.
• Review lease contracts to determine proper accounting.
• Manage lease payments with accounts payable and ensures payments are accurate.
• Implement and maintain contract software.
• Provide outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
• File required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
• Coordinate with software vendor to maintain accounting software system; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e., GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
• Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from engaging and attracting candidates to managing the offer process.
• Provide new employees with a positive onboarding experience.
• Keep HRIS updated with changes as well as any other systems or areas that need updating due to changes.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date personnel files, records, and documentation.
• Attend and participate in career fairs and outreach events.
• Collaborate with the Human Resources and Training departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
