Financial Assistant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Post financial entries in the system
- Reconcile accounts and bank statements
- Prepare financial reports
- Assist in cash flow analysis
- Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with financial policies
- Process and manage domestic and international accounts payable
- Verify tax documents, invoices, and other financial documentation
- Schedule payments and monitor due dates
- Manage payments in local and foreign currencies
- Perform bank and financial reconciliations
- Support the monthly financial close
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, shipping lines, international agents, and financial institutions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and established deadlines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Accounting, or related field
- Previous experience in finance — Accounts Payable (preferably in foreign trade companies, freight forwarders, or international logistics)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with Outlook and Teams
- Financial management systems (experience with the Skayline system is a plus)
- Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail
- Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Good communication skills, teamwork, and empathy
