About the role
- Responsible for attainment of assigned business/transient/group/catering goals tied to overall performance.
- Effectively soliciting and securing new accounts as well as maintaining existing clients/groups.
- Work in conjunction with the Regional Director of Sales and other team members to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals.
- Conduct solicitation calls, prospect, generate contracts and conduct sales tours.
- Maintain accounts, contacts, activity, and business details using Delphi.fdc/Amadeus.
- Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market.
- Maintain strong visibility in the local community and industry organizations as applicable.
- Responsible for selling meeting space and detailing BEO’s at properties with event space.
- Assist with the creation of annual Sales & Marketing plans.
- Attend daily/weekly/monthly meetings and functions required by management.
Requirements
- Hospitality Sales experience is a plus!
- Knowledge of the surrounding community and its current events.
- Communicates effectively to create a great impression.
- Has a valid driver's license and insurance.
