About the role

  • Responsible for attainment of assigned business/transient/group/catering goals tied to overall performance.
  • Effectively soliciting and securing new accounts as well as maintaining existing clients/groups.
  • Work in conjunction with the Regional Director of Sales and other team members to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals.
  • Conduct solicitation calls, prospect, generate contracts and conduct sales tours.
  • Maintain accounts, contacts, activity, and business details using Delphi.fdc/Amadeus.
  • Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market.
  • Maintain strong visibility in the local community and industry organizations as applicable.
  • Responsible for selling meeting space and detailing BEO’s at properties with event space.
  • Assist with the creation of annual Sales & Marketing plans.
  • Attend daily/weekly/monthly meetings and functions required by management.

Requirements

  • Hospitality Sales experience is a plus!
  • Knowledge of the surrounding community and its current events.
  • Communicates effectively to create a great impression.
  • Has a valid driver's license and insurance.
