About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for attainment of assigned business/transient/group/catering goals tied to overall performance.
Effectively soliciting and securing new accounts as well as maintaining existing clients/groups.
Work in conjunction with the Regional Director of Sales and other team members to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals.
Conduct solicitation calls, prospect, generate contracts and conduct sales tours.
Maintain accounts, contacts, activity, and business details using Delphi.fdc/Amadeus.
Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market.
Maintain strong visibility in the local community and industry organizations as applicable.
Responsible for selling meeting space and detailing BEO’s at properties with event space.
Assist with the creation of annual Sales & Marketing plans.
Attend daily/weekly/monthly meetings and functions required by management.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hospitality Sales experience is a plus!
Knowledge of the surrounding community and its current events.
Communicates effectively to create a great impression.
Has a valid driver's license and insurance.
