About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Improve existing operations and develop new manufacturing processes
- Gather KPI and metric data for production processes
- Train and guide manufacturing technicians in process improvements
- Investigate root cause of nonconformances to design or process specifications
- Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods
- Performs Risk Analysis and Mitigation
- Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating costs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 plus years technical experience in manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related Engineering Discipline including Industrial, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering required
- Proficient in change management systems (ECO processes), and document control
- Proficient in using data analysis programs and Microsoft Suite, experience with VBA, C++, G-CODE, JavaScript, or similar programming preferred
- 1 plus year Experience using CAD (computer-aided design) software
- Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) and familiarity with industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, etc.) preferred
- Experience with robotics, automated assembly equipment, or CNC machinery, including setup, programming, and troubleshooting, preferred.
