About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead relationships across independent broker-dealer firms and digital investment platforms
  • Support relationship management for strategic wirehouse, regional broker-dealer, custodial partners, and RIAs
  • Collaborate with the National Sales Manager and wholesalers to drive growth across shared accounts
  • Lead RFPs, DDQs, platform onboarding, fund approvals, and menu-placement processes for private wealth products
  • Build and execute account-specific business plans with sales, AUM growth, and advisor-engagement targets
  • Drive advisor awareness and product adoption through trainings, conferences, webinars, and due-diligence meetings
  • Negotiate platform agreements, fee arrangements, and servicing terms with Legal, Compliance, and Product teams
  • Monitor platform sales, flows, and redemption activity and identify retention risks
  • Communicate client requirements, competitive intelligence, and product feedback to internal teams
  • Partner with Marketing on platform campaigns, collateral, digital content, and model-portfolio/menu inclusion
  • Track pipeline, AUM, and revenue against goals using CRM and platform reporting tools
  • Monitor private markets trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments
  • Represent Hamilton Lane at industry conferences and due-diligence forums

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience in national accounts, platform relationship management, or distribution within asset management, particularly alternative investments/private markets
  • Established relationships with home-office due-diligence, platform, and product teams at independent broker-dealer and/or digital-platform organizations
  • Working knowledge of private markets fund structures, including evergreen/semi-liquid funds, interval funds, tender-offer funds, and non-traded BDCs
  • Knowledge of the IBD/RIA distribution landscape
  • Demonstrated track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships and driving measurable AUM and revenue growth
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66) required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong contract negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple due-diligence processes, platform approvals, and account plans simultaneously
  • Highly organized approach to prioritization and follow-through
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills
  • Ability to present to and influence senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30–50%
