About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Azure Administrator will support and optimize our cloud-based infrastructure and enterprise collaboration platforms.
- This role will be responsible for administering Microsoft Azure environments, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for an Azure-hosted application that monitors customer devices, and managing Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments.
- The ideal candidate will work effectively across teams, including R&D, development, and international software teams, and contribute to the reliability, security, and continuous improvement of our systems.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for an application built in Microsoft Azure that monitors customer devices.
- Troubleshoot incidents, analyze root causes, and coordinate escalations when needed.
- Monitor Azure-hosted services for performance, availability, and reliability.
- Support deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Azure resources and related infrastructure.
- Assist with security, access management, and compliance within the Azure environment.
- Manage Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Configure and maintain user accounts, licenses, and security groups.
- Implement compliance policies, retention rules, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Office 365-related issues.
- Manage SharePoint Online environments, configure site collections, permissions, and workflows, and support content migration and governance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 + years of experience in Azure administration or cloud infrastructure support
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and portal management
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 (Office 365) and SharePoint Online
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, incident management systems, and IT service management (ITSM) processes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a regionally accredited university.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI)
- Understanding of networking concepts, identity management (Azure AD), and security best practices
- Exposure to DevOps practices or CI/CD pipelines
