About the role

  • The intern will assist our engineers in CAD drawings, facility layouts, conducting experiments, design and process verification and validation, project logistics, and mechanical design.
  • Work will center around robotic and precision fluid handling projects and production processes.

Requirements

  • Must have demonstrated strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with drafting/dimensioning
  • Able to interpret data, generate graphs, and visually communicate test results
  • Understanding of basic programming logic and electrical circuit principles
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as required to interface with other departments and company personnel in a service function.
  • Position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Must be able to work part-time (20 hours approx.) Monday through Friday. (Hamilton will adjust working hours to work with Academic Schedule.)
