About the role
- Manage suppliers and partners
- Independently select and evaluate suitable suppliers
- Conduct purchasing and commercial negotiations
- Targeted identification of international products for our professional customers
- Continuous development of the procurement strategy
- Collaborate with importers based in the EU
- Monitor KPIs and derive appropriate measures
- Serve as the point of contact for internal interfaces of the Cash & Carry (C&C) market and delivery services
Requirements
- Strong communication skills

- Solid professional experience in purchasing or category management at a retail company in the food sector
- Initial leadership experience
- Business-fluent English
- Strong affinity for food products
- Skilled negotiator
