About the role
- Independent selection and assessment of suitable suppliers
- Conducting purchasing and terms negotiations
- Targeted identification of international products for our professional customers
- Continuous development of the procurement strategy
- Collaboration with EU-based importers
- Monitoring key performance indicators and deriving appropriate actions
- Point of contact for internal interfaces of the C&C (Cash & Carry) market and delivery services
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Creativity and a confident demeanor
- Solid professional experience in purchasing or category management at a retail company in the food sector
- Some initial leadership experience
- Business-fluent English
- High affinity for food products
- Strong numerical understanding and high analytical skills
