Key responsibilities & impact

The aim of this thesis is to examine the technical, organizational and regulatory prerequisites for integrating Agentic AI and chatbot systems into a tax-regulatory software environment.
You will analyze which compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, banking supervisory regulations) must be met to ensure the secure use of AI in the financial services environment.
You will also evaluate different operational and licensing models for AI systems — from commercial offerings to building in-house AI solutions.
Your work will provide a sound basis for decision-making regarding the long-term AI strategy in the product context.

What you’ll need

Analyze the regulatory and technical framework conditions for the use of Agentic AI and chatbots in withholding tax processing
Identify and assess compliance requirements (GDPR, ISO 27001, banking supervisory regulations)
Investigate operational models (e.g., cloud-based, on-premise, hybrid) and licensing options (commercial models vs. in-house development)
Develop a concept that ensures human users retain final decision-making authority
Strong spoken and written German and English skills
