About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct warm calling and outbound calling to potential customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and appropriate solutions.
- Present product information, features, and benefits to potential customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in CRM system.
- Handle challenges or obstacles with clients and/or vendors.
- Understand and utilize all internal support resources and processes to mitigate project risk and maximize profits.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of proven experience in business development or inside sales roles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Promotional products industry experience required.
- Detail oriented, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to deliver under deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong work ethic that supports working independently, under minimal supervision as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with a dynamic range of people.
- Proactively seek out information, training and other resources needed to facilitate continual professional development necessary to be successful in this position.
- The job may require travel from time-to-time, but not on a regular basis.
