About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs
Develop modern, responsive front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript
Build secure RESTful APIs and microservices
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root cause analysis
Manage or work with Azure cloud infrastructure and services including AKS, Service Bus, and App Insights
Implement authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Azure AD B2C (Microsoft Entra External ID)
Implement AI solutions and optimize database design and performance
Translate business problems into scalable AI/ML and Generative AI solutions
Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI systems
Lead or contribute to multiple AI initiatives while coordinating with engineering leads, product managers, architects, and offshore teams
Lead Agile development teams delivering enterprise SaaS applications
Provide technical direction and architectural guidance throughout the software development lifecycle
Establish coding standards, design principles, and development best practices
Conduct code reviews and ensure maintainable, high-quality code
Mentor developers
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and technical design discussions
Drive engineering excellence through automation, quality, and continuous improvement
Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Business Analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
8+ years of software development experience using Microsoft technologies
3+ years leading engineering teams or serving as a Technical Lead
Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server
Strong experience with Angular (v12+) and TypeScript
2+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years focused on AI/ML and Generative AI initiatives
Strong hands-on experience building and deploying production AI systems
Experience delivering AI initiatives independently in enterprise environments
Strong understanding of LLMs, Agentic AI architectures, and RAG systems
Extensive experience designing and developing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure
Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Strong knowledge of Azure AD, Azure AD B2C (Microsoft Entra External ID), OAuth 2.0, and JWT
Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
Experience conducting technical design reviews and code reviews
Experience with Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, or similar platforms is required
