About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the endpoint product area and shape its strategy
- Translate company objectives into a defensible roadmap
- Define scope, sequence work, and make product tradeoff decisions
- Drive initiatives from discovery through general availability and post-launch iteration
- Report on outcomes including adoption, retention, and deal impact
- Meet enterprise customers and prospects to validate problems
- Represent the product in roadmap reviews, executive briefings, and technical deep dives
- Turn customer feedback into a defensible product point of view
- Partner with Engineering on requirements, architecture discussions, and delivery quality
- Work with Sales Architects on deal support, technical objections, and field feedback
- Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Support on launches and adoption
- Coordinate prioritization and execution within Product and UX
- Surface risks early and drive them to resolution
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in product management, including several years at a senior or lead level owning a product area
- Experience shipping agent-based endpoint software running on customer machines
- Understanding of deployment at scale, performance footprint, OS behavior, telemetry, upgrades, rollbacks, and production failures
- Experience with B2B enterprise products sold to external customers in a customer-facing capacity
- Technical aptitude to follow design discussions, read architecture documents, ask relevant questions, and push back credibly
- Ability to keep up with engineering and question technical decisions when necessary
- Detailed track record of product ownership, decisions, shipped work, and business impact
- Strong written and verbal communication with engineers and executives
- Willingness to travel to customers approximately 30–40%
- Endpoint security or endpoint management experience preferred
- Startup or high-growth environment experience preferred
- Applied AI or ML in a shipped product preferred
