About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Qualified 2nd & 3rd‑level support for our users in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg
- Analysis, handling and resolution of IT issues (Windows, hardware and software, mobile devices)
- Fault diagnosis and remediation on site in Blieskastel as well as predominantly remote support at other locations
- Analysis of recurring incidents and derivation of sustainable measures to improve service quality and stability
- Close collaboration with internal IT teams to develop stable and sustainable solutions
- Participation in international IT projects to introduce and further develop modern workplace concepts, technologies and digital services; depending on project requirements this may require on‑site presence at various locations and business travel outside Germany
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification (or successfully completed vocational training)
- Strong technical aptitude, particularly with IT hardware
- Basic knowledge of network or server environments
- Experience working with Active Directory, M365, Intune, Entra, software distribution, helpdesk tools and MDM solutions
- Confident handling of PC and printer hardware as well as mobile devices in office and production environments (e.g., label printers, scanners, tablets, vehicle terminals)
- Experience in scripting (especially with PowerShell)
- Experience with ITSM processes, ticketing systems and service‑oriented working methods, ideally aligned with ITIL
- Good written and spoken English
