About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with the Regional Sales Director within the Upstate NY territory to meet existing and potential clients
- Identify customers’ clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care
- Discuss and demonstrate how company products can meet patient and client needs
- Provide case coverage and clinical support for complex interventional cardiology cases
- Support achievement of projected sales goals, company objectives, and increased sales revenue
- Provide troubleshooting and in-service education for company products
- Engage customers in procedural and technical discussions about product, therapy, and technology developments
- Link clinical data to key messaging
- Collaborate daily with the local territory manager and communicate account information
- Support product inventory monitoring
- Share competitive product and account insights with the territory manager or clinical specialist
- Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products
- Lead reviews of challenging or complex cases
- Lead and develop content for regional and area clinical calls
- Support the Regional Sales Director in creating and disseminating educational content for the internal team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Clinical expertise sufficient to provide coverage and support for the most complex cases
- Ability to troubleshoot company products and provide in-service education
- Ability to engage physicians and hospital-based physician groups in clinical and technical discussions
- Ability to connect clinical data to key messaging
- Ability to identify clinical needs, goals, and constraints and provide feasible product-based solutions
- Ability to lead complex case reviews and develop clinical-call content
- Ability to support sales goals and collaborate with Regional Sales Directors and territory managers
