About the role
- Support the BU by leading financial processes across Global and NA Hospital
- Lead the development, analysis, and reporting of annual operating budgets
- Lead monthly business reviews, present results/forecast updates
- Track status updates and facilitate discussion on milestones to meet strategic initiatives
- Direct the financial planning and reporting including analyzing business trends
- Incorporate acquisitions into Hospital BU financial processes
- Lead special projects such as business development support
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for new products initiatives (NPIs)
- Develop and deploy Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Review contracts amendments, extensions, and ensure pricing improvements are met
- Challenge status quo thinking and provide reliable and insightful modeling
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
- Previous managerial supervisory experience preferred
- Bachelors required; MBA/CPA preferred
- Experience in building dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Tableau required
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting systems (Hyperion/Oracle EPBCS preferred)
- Good knowledge of US GAAP
- Must possess strong business analytical skills with thorough understanding of how to identify, interpret, and transform raw data sets into meaningful and actionable solutions
- Demonstrated proficiency in using multiple data sources to draw inferences/conclusions and communicate those findings effectively
- Drive for accuracy with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver within tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to think strategically coupled with working in a logical and structured way
- Open and flexible attitude with the ability to execute tasks within deadlines.
