About the role

  • You take responsibility for test architectures and automation: you design and maintain automation architectures, ensure the quality of business-critical applications, and continuously develop test processes.
  • You implement modern automation solutions: using tools such as Playwright, REST Assured, Cucumber, Tricentis Tosca, or Cypress, you develop automated tests and integrate them seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
  • You plan and manage testing—and advise your clients: you coordinate test activities, lead small teams, and support project and specialist teams in developing test strategies, quality assurance, and best practices.
  • You analyze and report results: you evaluate test outcomes, document deviations, monitor test progress, and initiate optimizations.
  • You work on diverse topics: whether agile teams, DevOps environments, cloud- or mobile-testing—you contribute your expertise and stay up to date with current technologies.

Requirements

  • You have at least 3–5 years of practical experience in software testing, test automation, or quality assurance—ideally in a consulting role.
  • You are proficient in multiple programming languages—e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#—and confident working with test and performance tools such as Playwright, JUnit, REST Assured, Tricentis Tosca, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
  • You are familiar with modern testing concepts and standards: agile testing, risk-based strategies, and exploratory test design.
  • An ISTQB certification is a plus.
  • You communicate clearly and appropriately for the audience: whether with developers, product owners, or stakeholders—you can gather requirements, present results, and provide recommendations.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs is an advantage.
  • You bring team spirit and leadership experience: you have led small teams or supported and developed colleagues technically.
  • You speak German at a native level and have no problem communicating in English.
