About the role

  • Interpret customer designs and provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback to convert requirements into manufacturable solutions
  • Perform DFM analyses using Hadrian's internal software tools to determine compatibility with Hadrian's factories and recommend optimizations for cost and quality
  • Utilize part technical information to generate costing models and develop customer-facing proposals
  • Partner with stakeholders to strategize, plan, and implement software and manufacturing solutions; act as the internal customer to ensure tools meet production needs
  • Gather and analyze industry data to help steer Hadrian’s automation technology and manufacturing market decisions
  • Monitor factory performance to help optimize Hadrian’s software, ensuring quality standards, process integrity, and alignment with customer requirements
  • Apply strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and manufacturing terminology to evaluate designs and ensure accurate, high-quality production outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related STEM field; in lieu of a degree, 4+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-intensity production environment will be considered
  • 3–4 years of experience in a manufacturing role, with a strong preference for candidates who have led impactful projects
  • Proficiency in GD&T and demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Proficiency with CAD tools and the ability to translate designs into manufacturable solutions
  • Experience developing and implementing production processes and systems in high-growth or fast-paced environments
  • Experience with basic software programming (SQL, MATLAB, Python) (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing tools such as CNC machines, sheet metal brakes, or lathes (preferred)
  • Personal or project portfolio demonstrating applied manufacturing skills, or active involvement in manufacturing-related clubs or extracurriculars (preferred)
  • To conform to ITAR, must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
