About the role
- Become intimately familiar with Habitat’s core values and cultural competencies and capabilities to ensure we are staffing centers and non-participant-facing roles with a team that cares and creates joy for our participants.
- Lead, hire, and develop a team of TA Specialists to ensure we meet time-to-fill goals with high-quality candidates.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with Center Leadership and non-participant-facing leaders.
- Review and optimize current talent acquisition processes, tools, and infrastructure to ensure efficient operations.
- Lead Habitat’s executive search efforts and provide white-glove service to hiring managers.
- Own the end-to-end recruitment for certain roles as needed to support the team.
- In partnership with the Sr. Director of People, develop and implement a targeted talent attraction strategy including employer branding efforts, redesigned careers page, utilization of Indeed and LinkedIn, and university recruitment.
- Assist and participate in the planning, advertising, and execution of hiring fairs.
- Design and own dashboards and metrics for the TA function.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- 5 years in recruiting, specifically within healthcare startup environments
- Experience leading a team of TA Specialists and professionals in a high-growth environment
- Proficiency in using ATS systems (e.g., Greenhouse)
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and Physician executives as hiring managers
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Must be located in California and have the ability to travel to centers on occasion
- Vaccination requirement: proof of vaccination or declination form for COVID and flu and required masking while in participant locations
- Employer participates in E-Verify (work authorization verification)
- Nice to have: Experience leading Executive Search

- Nice to have: Experience with recruitment for PACE organizations
- Nice to have: Hands-on experience with full-cycle physician recruitment and building a physician pipeline
