About the role

  • As a Staff Engineer, you won’t just be "working on a codebase", you'll lead the development of end-to-end features, architecting how our AI insights are surfaced to users and ensuring the system is robust, fast, and intuitive.
  • You won't just be delivering features, you'll architect and design our platform to keep us lean and robust as we scale. You'll be a technical leader and the goto person as we make strategic and tactical tech decisions. Together, we'll build a delivery platform purpose-built to enable agentic code development in safety.
  • Extreme Ownership: You take full accountability for the features you build, from initial discovery with the product team to deployment and monitoring.
  • Product-Minded Engineering: You don’t just build what’s asked; you challenge "why" and "how" to ensure we are delivering the best possible solutions for our users and outcomes for our business.
  • Full-Stack Agility: You’ll move seamlessly between crafting polished, responsive interfaces to developing the scalable, complex systems that handle the heavy lifting.

Requirements

  • You are proven at Staff or Senior level: You own initiatives end to end, provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, and raise the bar on what good looks like.
  • You are a pragmatic Architect: You have a track record of operating SaaS solutions at scale. You understand that "perfect is the enemy of shipped," making intentional trade-offs to build systems that are simple to operate and resilient over the long term.
  • You have a Product Mindset: You are driven by impact, not just lines of code. You care about the business problem we are solving.
  • You are Accountability-First: When you say "I've got this," the team knows it’s as good as done.
  • You have Deep Full-Stack Experience: You have a proven track record of building and scaling modern web applications (regardless of the specific framework).
  • You are Curious & Adaptable: You stay ahead of the curve in AI and web tech because you love the space, not because it’s your job.
