About the role

  • Strategic partner on investor reporting, scenario modelling, and fundraise preparation
  • Ensure payroll runs smoothly and taxes are filed correctly
  • Build billing processes and treasury management
  • Keep a clean picture of financials and own R&D tax incentive claims
  • Build and maintain a dynamic financial model
  • Act as the procurement gatekeeper to control SaaS spending
  • Manage currency risk across AUD and USD revenue

Requirements

  • CA or CPA qualified (highly desirable)
  • Big 4 or mid-tier foundation
  • Proven commercial experience
  • Startup or high-growth exposure
  • Systems mindset
  • Nice to have: Experience with multi-entity structures across AU and US
  • Nice to have: Exposure to cross-border payroll, transfer pricing, or GST/VAT complexity
