About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in the planning, coordination, execution of deploying our Flexbox .TM mobile fleet and our fleet of water treatment pilots across North America
  • Coordinate with the cross-functional teams (Automation, Commissioning, Service)
  • Trouble-shoot on site issues, both remotely and in the field
  • Flexible working hours which could involve night and weekend work
  • Escalate technical & commercial problems to the team
  • Verify spare part usage and track inventory
  • Gather feedback from users to help better the design of assets and streamline asset operations
  • Maintain an accurate log of asset issues and deployment documentation / logs for lessons learned and updates to Asset’s O&M and checklists
  • Interact with vendors or third parties as needed to support Asset and pilots
  • Review client checklists for completeness and accuracy
  • Visit sites to perform commissioning, startup, tuning, and training
  • Complete follow up visits when needed
  • Validate deployed assets are correctly installed, configured and maintained by client
  • Advocate for quality and maintenance of assets
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
  • Propose deployment/design strategies to improve
  • Participate in FAT tests, Wet tests, and maintenance of assets in H 2 O’s facilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant technical site experience (for example, testing and operations experience), construction, and commissioning, as well as good IT and analytical skills
  • Mechanically inclined with ability to disassemble and reassemble piping, valves, equipment, etc
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be available to travel unrestricted in both USA and Canada - 50% of the work requires traveling
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of water treatment processes, equipment, and technologies
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and P&IDs
  • Ability to meet all customer site access requirements and maintain a high degree of behavioral safety in all aspects of work
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership and managerial skills
  • Be autonomous, resourceful and meticulous
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Knowledge in various PLC programming software (Asset)
  • Experience in and knowledge of a variety of UF, RO, MBR technologies, chemical dosing kits, pumps, compressors, blowers, instrumentation, valves, screening systems, cartridge filters, etc. (Asset)
