About the role

  • Further development of the MES strategy at the Gustavsburg site with a clear focus on system harmonization and process integration
  • Analysis and preparation of production-relevant data (e.g. OEE, incidents, process quality) to improve manufacturing transparency
  • Design and implementation of a future-proof IT architecture, including SAP integration and connection of quality systems
  • Development of modern dashboards for real-time visualization of production KPIs
  • Integration of existing equipment and new technologies – creating an interface landscape that unifies legacy and modern systems
  • Support of the continuous improvement process through targeted data analyses
  • Close collaboration with Engineering, Production, IT, internal stakeholders and external system partners

Requirements

  • Degree or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in the MES environment, ideally with HYDRA or comparable systems
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes in discrete production (e.g. automotive, mechanical engineering)
  • Knowledge of IT systems, databases, interface architectures and server structures
  • Ability to analyze, structure and connect complex systems
  • Systems thinking, hands-on mentality and the ability to translate technical and organizational requirements
  • Clear, decisive communication – also within interdisciplinary teams
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken; solid English skills desirable
