About the role
- Point of contact for business units, other technology areas within IT and software vendors
- Coordinate requirements and solutions between business units and the IT department
- Support the adjustment and configuration of system environments
- Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of interfaces between business applications and other systems
- Analyze and resolve problems or incidents in collaboration with software vendors and external service providers
- Support the execution of regular security checks and penetration tests
- Develop and implement strategies to improve IT and IT security
- Manage change and release management processes related to business applications
- Update and maintain technical documentation and process descriptions
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, or an equivalent qualification
- Experience coordinating and communicating with internal departments and service providers
- Knowledge of administration and maintenance of business applications and their technical infrastructure
- Established experience with Microsoft 365 products (Microsoft Entra ID, Office 365/O365, Dynamics, Security)
- Experience with Atlassian products (Confluence/Jira)
- Confident handling of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Understanding of business processes and the requirements of business units
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, dynamic environment
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
