About the role
- Keeping the numbers under control: You monitor costs, schedules and quality and spot early when something might go off track.
- Risk management: You identify deviations, analyze root causes and help the team take corrective action.
- Cost control: You are involved early in the sales process, perform benchmarking and contribute your know-how to cost engineering.
- Technical understanding: You are familiar with works contracts, financing and guarantees and adapt quickly to new tools.
- Team coordination: You act as a sparring partner on equal terms and ensure transparency on all financial matters.
- Project variety: You manage projects across different industries.
Requirements
- Experience & background: You have professional experience in project controlling, ideally in plant or mechanical engineering.
- Education: You are an industrial engineering graduate or hold a comparable qualification.
- Numerical proficiency: You enjoy working with KPIs and bring structure to complex topics.
- Communication: You explain financial and business contexts clearly — within the project team and to management.
- Working style: You are analytical, organized and pragmatic.
- Technology & tools: You are enthusiastic about digital solutions, AI and modern software.
- Team fit: You work independently, reliably and with a sense of humour.
