About the role
- You join a profitable, consistently running Shopify D2C shop that has been profitable for 10 years and scale it to the next level together with the founder.
- Your task is to identify the right levers, choose clear growth paths, and consistently implement them with high, hands-on operational involvement.
- Analysis & Prioritization: Assess existing channels, processes and potentials and decide which 2–3 growth paths will truly deliver ROI.
- Strategic Scaling: Paid Social, SEO, CRM, Amazon or international expansion — you define the route and systematically set it up for scaling.
- Focused Execution: You work lean with the founder and a small team, coordinate freelancers and implement only what truly moves the business forward.
- Store & Funnel Optimization: Conversion, offers, bundles, creatives, landing pages — continuously test, improve and scale profitably.
- KPI Ownership: ROAS, contribution margin, CAC, growth — you manage by the numbers and drive stable revenue increases from a “self-running” setup.
- Fresh Perspective & Expertise: You bring modern e‑commerce and growth methods, professionalize the operational system and establish focused growth routines.
Requirements
- You have verifiable experience scaling e-commerce and D2C brands — concrete examples, numbers or case studies are highly valued.
- You have performance marketing in your blood (Meta/TikTok/Google) and can present working setups and results.
- You can profitably optimize Shopify stores — from offers and bundles to CRO — and have completed, verifiable projects demonstrating this.
- You excel at prioritization: you pick the 2–3 growth levers that deliver ROI and drive them through consistently.
- You operate like an operator: build systems, streamline processes, and resolve bottlenecks — with a proven track record.
- You can explain, manage and improve KPIs (ROAS, CAC, contribution margin, AOV) and have done so measurably in the past.
- You have experience managing small teams and freelancers and working closely with founders.
- You are hands‑on but possess strong strategic judgment — you know what you’re doing and why.
- You think in solutions, not in obstacles.
