About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the strategic aspect of the Agency’s creative production workflow process, including opening jobs, writing creative briefs, managing creative kickoffs, and leading internal and client presentations
  • Manage the team (e.g., Account Coordinator, Assistant Account Executive and Account Executive) across projects
  • Optimize assignment of work across Account team, ensuring Agency processes are followed
  • Provide strategic direction for creative, media, and merchandising projects
  • Help manage client expectations regarding budget, scope of work, timing, schedules, and processes
  • Engage and provides strategic direction to the more senior clients
  • Delegate to team members without giving up teamwork and authority
  • Manage the media planning and marketing calendar development, working with the Account Director
  • Take an active role in strategic marketing planning, working with the Account Director
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the client’s business and industry
  • Stay up to date on the latest developments in the marketing and advertising industry, as well as industry trends relevant to the client’s business
  • Responsible for managing the budget
  • Oversee the Account Executive’s work on client budget inputs and Agency billing, and processing of invoices, job closings, and client estimates
  • Supervise and foster relationship with Account Executive(s), ensuring work quality and advancement
  • Responsible for team development, to include on-going feedback and regularly scheduled meetings to review and set goals
  • Manage client meeting preparation and coordination with the Account Executive
  • Build and maintain positive, lasting client relationships based on effectively achieving client’s marketing objectives
  • Manage and lead client meeting presentations
  • Active role in presenting to clients
  • Manage and mentor the Account Service team
  • Supervise multiple lines of business, and strengthen and develop the agency-client relationship with multiple contacts at each LOB
  • Provide leadership in the development of strategic plans to help grow client business and generate incremental billings and income
  • Continuously look for ways to test and learn new ideas on the client’s business, anticipating next steps along the way
  • Review client account’s profitability with the Account Director monthly
  • Supervise, train, and motivate team members to assure a high level of performance
  • Proactively identify, develop, and present strategic POVs
  • Evaluate creative performance based on key KPIs in the dashboard to formulate creative recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities and advancement to Account Supervisor or an equivalent title; at least 1 year managing a team preferred
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Experience with various project types, including broadcast, OOH, print, digital, and social media; across creative, production, and media
  • Experience in leading strategic thinking across projects
  • Ability to identify the key aspects of the data or problems, and provide creative solutions
  • Proven track record in delivering measurable results through managing and executing marketing programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
