About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the employee lifecycle: Own the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a welcoming, seamless experience for new hires, validating critical documentation, and transitioning departing team members smoothly.
  • Partner with Payroll and Finance: Collaborate closely with the Payroll team to guarantee that monthly payroll variables and finance activities are communicated accurately and on schedule.
  • Coordinate benefits and vendor management: Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits providers, resolving employee queries (e.g., dependents, meal vouchers) and ensuring all operational invoices are audited and submitted for payment on time.
  • Oversee time tracking and leave administration: Monitor the time-tracking system to maintain accurate attendance records, address discrepancies, and approve time-off or leave requests in alignment with company policies.
  • Support compliance and contract administration: Manage and monitor the legal documentation for interns and apprentices, ensuring full compliance with educational and company requirements.
  • Collaborate with Global Mobility: Maintain effective lines of communication with the Global Mobility team to ensure global transfers and visa compliance align with local operational timelines.
  • Drive operational excellence: Proactively propose process improvements, organize digital employee records securely, and maintain close partnership with cross-functional teams (HRBPs, Legal, and Finance).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A seasoned HR professional with at least 2+ years of experience in Human Resources Operations, Payroll, or related areas, ideally within a fast-paced or tech environment.
  • An educational achiever holding a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • An expert in Brazilian labor practices with deep, practical knowledge of local labor laws (prior experience working with Workday is a highly-valued plus).
  • A bilingual communicator with advanced English skills, ready to collaborate with global stakeholders and operate smoothly in an international company.
  • A highly organized multi-tasker who possesses exceptional time-management skills and thrives when managing multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • A collaborative relationship-builder with excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of fostering steady partnerships across the organization.
