About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise personnel
- Research data and provide recommendations
- Act as the first line of communication with customers and warehouse sites
- Advise customers of service failures and coordinate resolutions
- Audit daily order processes and ensure all orders are sent to each site
- Monitor and report errors for performance tracking
- Work with Inventory Control, Transportation, and warehouse sites on service resolutions
- Oversee service provider performance and engage providers for service improvement
- Communicate order changes with warehouses and coordinate shipment schedules
- Maintain department ISO compliance documents
- Train department personnel to required standards
- Travel domestically by road, rail, and air as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows applications
- Ability to create complex formulas in Excel
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- REAL ID-compliant driver's license or passport for federal travel regulations
- Familiarity with and ability to comply with TSA security procedures
- Ability to travel domestically via road, rail, and air
- Associate degree in Transportation or Business is preferred
- 2 years of experience in customer service, distribution, or logistics in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- 2 years of experience in transportation and operations is preferred
- Availability to work extended hours as needed, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to perform complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures, and/or systems
- Experience producing unambiguous, comprehensive, and accurate interpretations
- May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test
