About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise personnel, research data, provide recommendations, and work directly with customers to provide support and resolve issues
  • Act as the first line of communication with customers and warehouse sites
  • Advise customers of service failures and coordinate resolutions
  • Audit daily order processes and ensure all orders are sent to each site
  • Monitor and report errors for performance tracking
  • Work with Inventory Control, Transportation, and warehouse sites on service resolutions
  • Oversee service provider performance and engage providers for service improvement
  • Communicate order changes with warehouses and coordinate shipment schedules
  • Maintain department ISO compliance documents
  • Train all department personnel to required standards, including the department Director and Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows applications
  • Ability to create complex formulas in Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • REAL ID-compliant driver's license or passport required for federal travel regulations
  • Familiarity with and ability to comply with TSA security procedures
  • Ability to travel domestically via road, rail, and air
  • Associate degree in Transportation or Business preferred
  • 2 years of experience in customer service, distribution, or logistics in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • 2 years of experience in transportation and operations preferred
  • Availability to work extended hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as needed
  • Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in new software applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data
  • Effective organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to adapt to new work structures, processes, or cultures
  • Ability to perform complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures, and/or systems
  • Experience producing unambiguous, comprehensive, and accurate interpretations
  • May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
