About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise personnel, research data, provide recommendations, and work directly with customers to provide support and resolve issues
Act as the first line of communication with customers and warehouse sites
Advise customers of service failures and coordinate resolutions
Audit daily order processes and ensure all orders are sent to each site
Monitor and report errors for performance tracking
Work with Inventory Control, Transportation, and warehouse sites on service resolutions
Oversee service provider performance and engage providers for service improvement
Communicate order changes with warehouses and coordinate shipment schedules
Maintain department ISO compliance documents
Train all department personnel to required standards, including the department Director and Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years of relevant work experience
Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows applications
Ability to create complex formulas in Excel
Ability to travel up to 75%
REAL ID-compliant driver's license or passport required for federal travel regulations
Familiarity with and ability to comply with TSA security procedures
Ability to travel domestically via road, rail, and air
Associate degree in Transportation or Business preferred
2 years of experience in customer service, distribution, or logistics in a manufacturing environment preferred
2 years of experience in transportation and operations preferred
Availability to work extended hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as needed
Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in new software applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data
Effective organizational and leadership skills
Ability to adapt to new work structures, processes, or cultures
Ability to perform complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures, and/or systems
Experience producing unambiguous, comprehensive, and accurate interpretations
May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test after receiving a conditional offer
