About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the EHS program and help us successfully achieve company and customer objectives
- Maintain, coordinate and communicate EHS processes and procedures
- Review, administer, maintain and ensure compliance with company policies and various state and federal regulations
- Conduct on-site audits of facility requirements as it relates to EHS programs and initiatives
- Ensure completion of action items for facilities and processes are resolved
- Review, research, develop and communicate EHS programs and solutions initiatives; develop action plans as necessary
- Lead safety meetings, training and continuing education
- Initiate and complete safety incident reports, RCCAs, and customer reporting needs
- Execute Safety Program projects as directed by leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of the supply chain and logistics industry
- Understanding of industry-related state and federal rules and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred)
- Solid understanding of OSHA requirements (preferred)
- Solid time and project management skills
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office applications
