About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and create risk assessments and safe systems of work across warehouse operations
  • Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies, legislation and ISO standards
  • Investigate incidents, analyze data and produce meaningful reports and recommendations to drive improvements
  • Coordinate monthly health and safety meetings, maintaining accurate statistics, KPIs and management information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an operationally focused Health & Safety role
  • NVQ Level 3 or NEBOSH General Certificate, with a commitment to continuing professional development
  • Strong working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and compliance requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for driving continuous improvement and promoting a positive safety culture
