About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review and create risk assessments and safe systems of work across warehouse operations
Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies, legislation and ISO standards
Investigate incidents, analyze data and produce meaningful reports and recommendations to drive improvements
Coordinate monthly health and safety meetings, maintaining accurate statistics, KPIs and management information

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of 2 years' experience in an operationally focused Health & Safety role
NVQ Level 3 or NEBOSH General Certificate, with a commitment to continuing professional development
Strong working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and compliance requirements
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for driving continuous improvement and promoting a positive safety culture
