About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide comprehensive training and development programs to teams in various facilities
Develop, write, maintain and coordinate training modules for a variety of specialties
Oversee the development of training videos and/or films
Schedule training sessions; ensure facility and audio-visual equipment is set up and that employees are notified
Develop a means of measuring the effectiveness of training programs through testing, surveys, etc.
Identify required core competencies and address any skill gaps
Train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and interacting with employees
Determine and implement career development plans for each training department employee

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 years of related work experience
Experience with warehouse management or inventory systems
Knowledge of adult learning principles and adult training methodologies
Ability to adhere to the 7S program
Proven ability to maintain a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience preferred
3 years of management experience preferred
2 years of training, teaching or related experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred
Creative and visual graphic design ability preferred
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
