About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive training and development programs to teams in various facilities
  • Develop, write, maintain and coordinate training modules for a variety of specialties
  • Oversee the development of training videos and/or films
  • Schedule training sessions; ensure facility and audio-visual equipment is set up and that employees are notified
  • Develop a means of measuring the effectiveness of training programs through testing, surveys, etc.
  • Identify required core competencies and address any skill gaps
  • Train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and interacting with employees
  • Determine and implement career development plans for each training department employee

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4 years of related work experience
  • Experience with warehouse management or inventory systems
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and adult training methodologies
  • Ability to adhere to the 7S program
  • Proven ability to maintain a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience preferred
  • 3 years of management experience preferred
  • 2 years of training, teaching or related experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred
  • Creative and visual graphic design ability preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
