Key responsibilities & impact

Provide leadership and guidance for your team of warehouse colleagues to enable them to meet objectives
Encourage open communication and addressing operational issues effectively
Ensure all colleagues comply with company procedures and are aware of their responsibilities
Monitor key performance indicators for the area
Ensure effective and efficient use of the warehouse management system (SAP) by the warehouse administration team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast-paced warehouse environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams to ensure excellent performance
The ability to work to the highest levels of safety, service, accuracy and quality.
IOSH Managing safely would be desirable.
An understanding of key operational cost drivers and cost centre management
