About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop solutions that leverage and expand upon inventory analytics capabilities that drive accuracy and integrity of inventory systems
  • Drive the strategic and tactical design and deployment of BI inventory analysis and reporting packages
  • Ensure analytical reporting capabilities enhance KPI attainment, business results, decision-making process and capabilities
  • Provide leadership and training to a team of Inventory Analysts to accomplish company goals and objectives
  • Create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement that drives cross-functional engagement
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organization to align priorities, build and execute development plans and communicate recommendations
  • Define and enforce standards to sustain effectiveness
  • Mentor and train analytical resources in best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4 years of inventory control experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with computerized scanner equipment
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
  • Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (if applicable)
  • Certified Business Intelligence Professional from Transforming Data with Intelligence (TDWI)
  • R/Python certifications (if applicable)
  • 3 + years’ experience delivering BI and data analytics solutions that involve statistical modeling (if applicable)
  • Understanding of data warehouse concepts (if applicable)
  • Experience taking care of both structured and unstructured data to recognize patterns and generate insights (if applicable)
  • Understanding of best practices and principles in SQL, query design, data validation/automation and analytic functions (if applicable)
