Senior Inspector – 1st Shift

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform inspection of machine parts and castings utilizing various inspection techniques and equipment to assure functional performance according to drawing specifications.
- Receiving Inspection and test of incoming material received at other sites.
- Provide validation and disposition of actual defects for both Hardware and Documentation Quality Notifications (QN).
- Participate in cause and corrective actions to alleviate production difficulties.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience with Open Setups to inspect orientation, location and form.
- Extensive experience with blueprints, MIL-STDs, technical procedures, specifications, standards, and other engineering and manufacturing documents.
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong reading, writing, verbal and presentation skills for interaction at various levels of management and within the organization.
- Ability to work within a technical environment developing/implementing practical solutions to a range of challenges in quality systems, process control, and materials.
- Incoming and/or Production Inspection.
- Have interpersonal skills and ability to work well with employees, teammates, and customers.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills that allow for proper and precise result descriptions.
- Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as SAP (PRISM).
