About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Daily oversight and direction of the 3 chambers of the warehouse logistics operation across the Enfield Iceland site, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, company policies and food standards
- Ensure rigorous adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety protocols required for temperature-controlled operations
- Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained to the highest safety and operational standards
- Manage team scheduling, resource allocation and workflow optimisation across the temperature-controlled environments
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of warehouse colleagues and management teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Recognised industry certifications (eg: IOSH, HACCP, CPC, Six Sigma etc) are desirable, but training can be given
- Significant experience in multi-temperature logistics/warehousing within FMCG and or food distribution
- Proven leadership and people management skills, including experience leading teams in challenging temperature-controlled environments
- Willingness to work variable shifts and provide on-site leadership as needed
