About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee SC Operations to keep operations running smoothly
Communicate with customers, vendors and team members
Establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives
Provide guidance to supervisors on personnel, quality and safety
Hire, train, develop and appraise staff
Make recommendations to improve operations
Handle equipment and coordinate maintenance needs
Ensure records and reports are maintained timely
Adhere to and enforce safe work practices compliant with OSHA

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 years of relevant work experience
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field (preferred)
4 years of managerial/supervisory experience (preferred)
Experience in AS9100 or ISO environment (preferred)
Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge (preferred)
Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) (preferred)
