About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the strategy and execution of GXO’s workers compensation program
Build processes in partnership with GXO’s third party Workers Compensation Administrator and Risk Management
Develop a holistic workers compensation approach in collaboration with various functional units (including Human Resources, EHS, Finance, Risk Management, Operations, etc.)
Develop processes that enables employees to receive adequate care after sustaining a workplace injury
Ensure business continuity while an injured employee is unable to work
Oversee return to work requirements such as fitness for duty
Assist in the development and measurement of annual objectives and key results (OKRs)
Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics and OKRs
Support leadership by evaluating monthly, quarterly, and annual performance of vendors
Analyze industry benchmarks and draft reports for use in evaluating comparative program performance
Manage the Litigation Platform and provide recommendations to leadership
Collaborate with external and internal partners such as Risk Management, HR, Safety and Legal

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree Business, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related field
5 years progressive experience in finance or analytical role within a casualty brokerage firm, third-party claim administrator or corporate risk management department
1-year leadership experience
Experience in drafting formal documents, developing, and delivering presentations, project planning and cross functional collaboration
Demonstrates strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Querying experience with Risk Management Information System tools
