About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the strategy and execution of GXO’s workers compensation program
  • Build processes in partnership with GXO’s third party Workers Compensation Administrator and Risk Management
  • Develop a holistic workers compensation approach in collaboration with various functional units (including Human Resources, EHS, Finance, Risk Management, Operations, etc.)
  • Develop processes that enables employees to receive adequate care after sustaining a workplace injury
  • Ensure business continuity while an injured employee is unable to work
  • Oversee return to work requirements such as fitness for duty
  • Assist in the development and measurement of annual objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics and OKRs
  • Support leadership by evaluating monthly, quarterly, and annual performance of vendors
  • Analyze industry benchmarks and draft reports for use in evaluating comparative program performance
  • Manage the Litigation Platform and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Collaborate with external and internal partners such as Risk Management, HR, Safety and Legal

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related field
  • 5 years progressive experience in finance or analytical role within a casualty brokerage firm, third-party claim administrator or corporate risk management department
  • 1-year leadership experience
  • Experience in drafting formal documents, developing, and delivering presentations, project planning and cross functional collaboration
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Querying experience with Risk Management Information System tools
