Duty Section Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop First Line Managers and operational teams to achieve performance and service targets
- Drive a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring full compliance and proactive risk management
- Manage daily operations including labour planning, workflow prioritisation, and performance monitoring
- Analyse performance data, identify root causes of issues, and implement continuous improvement solutions
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and create a positive, high-engagement team environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven leadership experience within a fast-paced logistics or warehouse environment
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong bias for action
- Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams
- Experience working with KPIs, operational reporting, and performance management tools
- Good system knowledge (WMS preferred) and confidence using data to drive decisions
