Regional Health & Safety Manager – Coldstores

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and promote a strong safety culture aligned with our “Road to Zero” strategy
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, health, safety, and environmental practices across multiple sites
- Ensure compliance with legislation and corporate standards through effective implementation and monitoring of QHSE policies and procedures
- Review and create Risk Assessments (task, COSHH, fire, first aid, workplace transport, environment) and Safe Systems of Work for all tasks carried out within the Warehouse, Transport and Engineering departments
- Review and update Refrigeration Procedures in line with legislation and best practise
- Interpret and adopt advice from Refrigeration SMEs into procedures and policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years in a senior safety management role at site or contract level
- NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent with current active CPD
- Experience of warehouse, transport and engineering operations
- Level 3 qualifications in engineering / refrigeration / related subject (desirable)
- Level 2 HACCP (desirable)
- Experience of high-hazard environments / equipment management including those falling under DSEAR, PSSR and PUWER
- Full UK Driving License
